Nikon 300mm f4 VR - press photography
I was lucky to get my hands on one of the first Nikon 300mm F4 VR lenses that reached the UK.
It is a great lens for press and conference photography. It's as small as the Nikon 24-70 so it's very easy to work discretely. I'd previously owned the 300 2.8 - a great but bulky lens - but ditched it in favour of a 500f4 and Nikon's new 300f4. I find f4 lenses are much more manageable, particularly with the low noise of new cameras.
Here are a few pictures from my first weekend with it.
