Nikon 105mm 1.4 portrait lens
Here’s some recent work with Nikon’s new ultra-fast 105mm 1.4 portrait lens which I picked up yesterday from Camera Centre UK.
I’ve long been a fan of prime lenses - particularly Nikon's 85mm 1.4. The large aperture of these lenses gives a very shallow depth of field which produces the distinctive soft and out of focus backgrounds - perfect for a portrait/headshot photographer.
