MARLBOROUGH, ENGLAND - JULY 30: Sarsen stones in the West Woods on July 30, 2020 in Marlborough, England. Archaeologists have discovered that the sarsen stones used for the prehistoric temple Stonehenge were from a two square mile part of woodland called 'West Woods' just south of the village of Lockeridge near Marlborough. The stones, which weigh approximately 20 tonnes, were moved south to Stonehenge over a distance of 15 miles.
